CrayonLyf is intended for use by parents who are adults and who wish to create and manage a profile for their child.

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent of the child for whom you create a child profile.

Age & relationship verification notice: CrayonLyf does not independently verify your age or independently verify your relationship with the child against external records. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for truthfully representing that you are an adult parent.

Children may not create or register for an account themselves.

Registration requires you to accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

By selecting the applicable acceptance option and continuing with registration or use of CrayonLyf, you agree to both.

Your continued use of CrayonLyf after these Terms or the Privacy Policy have been presented to you constitutes continued acceptance, subject to any additional acceptance requirements that may apply to material changes.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, retained, and deleted. The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your use of CrayonLyf and should be read together with these Terms.

To use CrayonLyf, you must complete the registration process provided in the App.

The registration process may include verification of the mobile number provided through a one-time password (OTP). OTP verification confirms control of the mobile number provided; it does not independently verify your age or parent-child relationship.

You must not register or use CrayonLyf on behalf of another person without appropriate authority.

The first parent who successfully registers and creates a child profile becomes the Primary Account Holder.

The Primary Account Holder controls the child account and is responsible for managing the child profile and the permissions associated with it.

The Primary Account Holder may invite another person to join the child's profile. A person who accepts such an invitation becomes a Member. A Member may be the child's other parent or another person invited by the Primary Account Holder.

Members must accept the invitation and acknowledge the applicable Privacy Policy before becoming Members.

Members have the permissions provided by CrayonLyf for their role. They do not become Primary Account Holders merely by joining a child profile.

An account or Primary Account Holder status may not be sold, assigned, transferred, or otherwise transferred to another person.

The Primary Account Holder retains control over the child account. The Primary Account Holder may remove a Member from the child profile at any time.

Member access does not give a Member ownership or control over the child account or the child's data.

CrayonLyf allows a parent to create and manage a profile relating to their child.

Information entered into a child profile may include information such as the child's name, age, gender, school, class, location, and other information voluntarily provided by the parent, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Primary Account Holder is responsible for ensuring that information entered into the child profile is accurate and appropriate.

CrayonLyf does not provide independent accounts for children.

CrayonLyf may provide a screen-time timer that allows a parent to record elapsed time against a category selected or defined by the parent, such as "TV" or "gaming".

The feature records the duration associated with the timer or category configured through the App.

Screen-time information is intended to assist parents in managing and recording activities. It should not be interpreted as a technical monitoring service for a child's device.

CrayonLyf provides a food-analysis feature through which a user may submit a photograph for analysis.

CrayonLyf's AI system is designed to reject images that are not identifiable as food, including images containing or depicting a child.

When an image is rejected, it does not become a food record and the user is returned to the food-upload functionality.

Only food-related submissions that are accepted for analysis are registered as food information within the App.

Information generated through the AI food-analysis feature is provided for general informational purposes only.

AI-generated food, ingredient, or nutritional information may be incomplete, inaccurate, estimated, or unsuitable for a particular individual.

You should not rely on AI-generated information as a substitute for professional advice, particularly where a child has an allergy, medical condition, dietary restriction, nutritional requirement, or other health-related concern.

Users remain responsible for independently verifying information where appropriate.

Food photographs submitted through CrayonLyf may also be used for general AI food-recognition model improvement as described in the Privacy Policy.

This processing is part of the CrayonLyf service and is not an optional feature or separate consent choice.

Before a submitted food photograph is used for general model improvement, the photograph is de-linked from the child's profile and identifying information associated with the profile is removed, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Model improvement is intended to improve the general ability of the system to recognise food, ingredients, and related nutritional information. It is not intended to create a behavioural profile of a child or to provide targeted advertising or targeted content to a child.

You are responsible for photographs, information, and other material that you submit through CrayonLyf.

You should not intentionally use the food-analysis feature to submit images of people, children, or other non-food material.

CrayonLyf may reject or remove submissions that are incompatible with the intended functionality of the App or these Terms.

You agree to use CrayonLyf only for its intended purposes and in accordance with applicable law.

CrayonLyf and its underlying software, technology, interface, design, branding, logos, graphics, text, features, and other materials are owned by or licensed to CuddlyDuddly Private Limited, unless otherwise stated.

Your use of CrayonLyf does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the App for its intended purposes.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise exploit the App or its proprietary components except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

CrayonLyf may depend on or use third-party infrastructure, technology, hosting, processing, or other service providers to operate particular features of the App.

The use of such services may involve the processing or storage of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions. We do not represent that every third-party service will always be available or uninterrupted.

CrayonLyf is currently provided free of charge.

There are currently no subscriptions, paid features, or in-app purchases.

We reserve the right to change the commercial structure of CrayonLyf in the future. If paid features or charges are introduced, the applicable terms and pricing will be communicated before they apply to the relevant service or transaction.

We may modify, update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of CrayonLyf from time to time.

Features may change as the App develops, including changes required to address technical, security, legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the App will operate without interruption or error.

Where a change materially affects the rights or obligations of users, we may provide an appropriate notice and, where required, obtain fresh acceptance.

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we may provide notice before taking such action. However, immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, the App, its systems, or legal rights.

You may stop using CrayonLyf at any time. Account deletion is available through the Delete Account functionality provided in the App.

The consequences of account deletion and applicable retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.

CrayonLyf is provided on an "as available" basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CuddlyDuddly Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from or relating to your use of CrayonLyf.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

In particular, AI-generated information should not be relied upon as professional medical, dietary, nutritional, or allergy advice, and users remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional advice where necessary.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of CrayonLyf, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

This provision does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss or liability results from conduct for which CuddlyDuddly Private Limited is legally responsible.

Your use of CrayonLyf is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The current Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.

If you have a complaint, concern, or dispute relating to CrayonLyf, you should first contact the Grievance Officer using the contact details provided in the Privacy Policy.

We will handle grievances through the applicable grievance-redressal process.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any statutory right or remedy available under applicable law.

These Terms do not require disputes to be resolved through mandatory arbitration.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CrayonLyf.

The manner in which we communicate a change will depend on its nature and significance.

Minor or non-material changes may be communicated through the App.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we may provide more prominent notice and, where appropriate or required, ask you to expressly accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the affected service.

The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of these Terms will indicate when the Terms were most recently updated.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce that provision later.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of CrayonLyf, subject to applicable law.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy concerning how personal data is processed, the Privacy Policy will govern that processing matter.
